In July of 2024, we decided to go all in and purchased a brand new boat! A Bulls Bay 2400.

There is simply no conditions on the lake that can stop us now with the exception of lightning!
The Bulls Bay 2400 offers one of the driest most comfortable rides out there. We also now have a hard tee top to offer shade from the North Texas sun in the summertime! This boat can do it all from getting into the shallow skinny waters to getting off shore in the Gulf of America!

Our choice of outboard motor will always be a Yamaha, many brands will get you out there but a Yamaha will get you home! We have also jumped up from 200 horses to 250.
We have spared no expenses in our rigging and have the best electronics currently available from from Humminbird, Garmin Livescope and a Minn Kota Ultrex Quest trolling motor.
We have also upgraded our batteries to lithium from Amped Outdoors which gives us the ability to have power for multiple days even when the wind is howling!

We have a set 10' Power Pole blades with dirft paddle attachments, this allows for boat control like we have never had before!

We have a 50 gallon Xtreme bait tank to keep our bait lively and productive.
We have spent hours perfecting our water chemistry to be able to keep our shad frisky!

Throughout the year your fishing guide will arrive several hours prior to the trip to catch fresh bait.
We have a stock of quality rods and reels from Meat Hunter rods and Piscifun.

We have also recently partnered up with Bonehead tackle for all of our crappie tackle and rods in 8',10'and 12' lengths. These are our secret weapons while Live Scoping in the timber and brush piles and are simply the best rods on the market!

Our tackle supply would make most tackle shops jealous, we even have a stock of some of grandpas old lures, they worked back in the day and still produce fish in the box 50 years later!!
We are also outfitted with all USCG approved safety gear as well as carry an annual membership to Towboats Us.

The towboat service has multiple boats in the metroplex and serves every lake that we fish. Thankfully we have not had to use their services yet but they are available 24/7 365.
The Barefoot boat can comfortably accommodate up to 6 angers with a dry comfortable ride in most any condition that we face on a lake in the Dfw metroplex.
Captain Jake welcomes children of all ages and anglers of all skill level to from the greenhorn all the way to the seasoned professional.
